Volunteering in Ecuador as an English Teacher
The program consists of:
Teaching English to children and teenagers from public schools in Ecuador. (Sierra and Amazon region) From September 2016 to July 2017.
Being a native English-speaker or having at least a B2 English level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
The Foundation will provide:
-Airline tickets (round trip) from the volunteer’s current place of residence to Ecuador.
-Monthly volunteer living allowance
-Support during Visa application process
-Pre-paid health insurance
-Accommodation and meals will be provided by a host family whose children study at the school where the volunteer teacher will be working. This will give volunteers the opportunity to interact and learn Spanish by being exposed to the language.
-The Foundation will organize tourist events with other local volunteer teachers and will provide information on tourist attractions and tours; and information about universities and institutes that provide Spanish courses for the volunteer teachers.
At the end of the program participants will receive a diploma in recognition of their valuable contribution as a volunteer teacher.
