The low-income district of Trujillo in Peru is looking for volunteers to help in several projects run by Smile Peru:
-Teaching English Program where we teach unprivileged children between 6 to 14 years old.
-Dog shelter project where volunteers help in a shelter with 40 dogs taken from the streets.
-Zoo Rescue Center where volunteers help animals in extinction that were rescued when they tried to be sold.
All our volunteers will have a rewarding and exciting volunteering experience. Apart from accommodation, we offer fun activities like salsa classes, Spanish classes, Bachata classes and other dances, surf lessons, sand-boarding practice, parties, meetings, tours and turistic activities around the city, historic center, chanchan, ruins around the city, Huaca del Sol y la Luna, Huaca Esmeralda, Huanchaco beach, as well as camping, trekking and trips to other cities and all the information you need to go to Machu Picchu or any place in Peru. We also offer sport activities like Frisbee, football, volleyball, basketball etc, all provided by the organization.
