Ever wondered what it feels like to stand at the edge of the world?  Surrounded by dramatic mountains and Argentina’s epic beauty, Ushuaia offers breathtaking coastal landscapes and amazing maritime wildlife. This trip won’t fall short of awe-inspiring!

Day 1: Ushuaia

Once you arrive to the airport in Ushuaia you’ll directly transfer to your hotel with your English Speaking Guide. Departing from the tourist pier, we start the navigation through the Beagle Channel, heading to the Lighthouse of Les Eclaireurs. Here you’ll be able to spot the amazing birds and super cute Sea Lions swimming and jumping around the boat.

We continue our journey passing by the Estancia Remolino and Almanza Harbor; heading for the McKinlay Passage toward the gable / Martillo Island, where there is a Magellan penguin colony. There we will stop to watch and photograph these beautiful birds from the catamaran. After that, we’ll make our way back to the Ushuaia pier.

Day 2: Ushuaia Trekking & Canoas

After breakfast we’ll go for a walk, where we will combine a trekking and a canoeing tour by the National Park Tierra del Fuego. These trails will take us to the most beautiful places of the park, famous for its wildlife such as giants trees, similar to those seen in the film the Lord of the Rings.

After this walk, our adventure heads on to the sea to sail the Beagle Channel in well equipped canoes. We’ll will the island of Sea Lions and the Mesa Redonda island to see the Imperial cormorants. We’ll dock and touch down on this island for a coffee with a beautiful view as the afternoon ends. Our return to Ushuaia will be around 06:00 Pm.

Day 3: Ushuaia: Lake Fagnano & Escondido

As soon as you finish breakfast, your day starts with a tour to Lake Fagnano and Escondido. We’ll take the bus and drive  along the scenic northern sector of the island, passing through areas of Turbas and running along the valleys of the Carbajal Huskies, Tierra Mayor and the cotorras covering about 75 kmts.

Once we cross the Andes Cordillera by Paso Garibaldi, you’ll enjoy the panoramic view of the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano. From there begins the descent towards Lake Escondido, on foot if you want (45 minutes) or by bus.

Our journey then continues through the old route until we reach the paved path of the Lake Fagnano, here we’ll take a moment to marvel at the beauty of raw nature. On our way back to the city, we will stop for lunch in one of the winter refuges. This lunch is not included in the price of the excursion and usually offers a menu of Fuegian lamb.

Day 4: Ushuaia

After breakfast, we’ll say our heartfelt goodbyes and take you to the airport to make your way back home.

3 nights at Las Lengas 3* Hotel

We endeavour to select a combination of good quality, three and four-star quality hotels, hostels and guesthouses (where you actually stay will depend on your trip) that reflects the character of the local area. The accommodation is also as centrally located as possible. We strive to keep the cost as affordable as possible.

Please be aware that some rooms, especially those in major urban centers or older cities, may be smaller than what you are used to in other parts of the world. Standards and ratings may also be different to your home country.


3 breakfasts and 1 lunch

We aim to make sure that breakfasts are included every morning in the accommodation (except on the first morning). They are usually ‘continental breakfasts’, which are typical in most countries. A typical breakfast may consist of cereals with milk or yoghurt, bread, croissants, cold meats, cheese and a range of spreads, with fruit juice, tea or coffee to drink.

Included evening meals are in local restaurants or in the included accommodation. In most cases, table water is provided with the meals and if you wish to purchase additional drinks, you can do so at your own expense.

If you have any dietary requirements, we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise us when you book. Please be aware that although we will do everything in our power, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we eat in will be able to cater to all of your dietary needs. Also, we cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu.
