Day 1: Arrival, welcome and transfer to hotel

Namaste and welcome to your historical adventure! As you step onto Nepali soil, one of our representative will welcome you the Nepalese way and transfer you to the hotel in Thamel. Don’t worry, wherever you are coming from, you can relax because have the evening to yourself to wind down.

Day 2: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan Durbar Square, Nagarkot

8:00 AM: Rise and shine sleepy heads! We will be meeting you at your hotel or any other convenient point to start the adventure. We will head to our first UNESCO World Heritage Site, Durbar Square, famous for historical monuments like the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the Kumari Ghar (residence of the Living Goddess Kumari) and many more. All this before 10 AM – oh man!

10:00 AM: We will be visiting Swayambhunath Stupa, for people who don’t know, they are used as places of meditation. It is world famous and located at the top of a hill and considered to be as ancient as Kathmandu itself. Imagine the history that lies on top of that hill! There is a stunning view of the valley that will instill inner peace inside you!

12:15 PM: Brace yourself for another UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Patan Durbar Square, famous for unique temples, palaces, and museums. And while we are here to learn the history of this ancient society, we will stop by a local restaurant so you can try Nepali cuisine, and if you aren’t too tired we can walk through the streets and markets to see how the locals live.

4:00 PM: Nature here we come! We will be heading towards Nagarkot via Bhaktapur. Just look outside the window, its filled with nothing but greenery and will take the anxiety right out of you! Once there, we will drop you off at your hotel, and because it is in prime location in an exotic hill station lying north-east of Kathmandu, we may be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset!

Day 3: Nagarkot – Changunarayan, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath

5:30 AM – 6:00 AM: Hope you guys are morning people because it is sunrise time! We will be waking up quite early to enjoy one of the best sunrises you will see in your life.

8:00 AM: We’ve definitely got a jam packed schedule so buckle up! We will be heading back to Bhaktapur after breakfast and through another village that is set on top of a hill. The town of Changunarayan was named after one of the oldest recorded temples in Kathmandu valley.

10:30 AM: We will arrive to Bhaktapur and explore the monuments around the Durbar Square. Enjoy another local lunch to fuel for more wandering around places like Dattatraya Square, Pottery Square and other areas around the town just to name a few.

2:30 PM: We will slowly start to make our way back to Kathmandu. On our way back we will visit one of the most famous Hindu temples. While we do that, you may witness bodies being cremated on the Bagmati River. What a humbling sight to see.

5:00 PM: We will push on from Pashupatinath and head to Boudhanath Stupa, which is an important Buddhist shrine. Perfect timing to come here because of the thousands of lamps that are lit by monks and pilgrims. If we get there at a good time, you may be able to visit some of the monasteries.

6:30 PM: We made it back to Kathmandu. If you need some suggestions for a place to enjoy your last Nepalese meal let us know! We are more than happy to help J

 Day 4: Departure

We bid you a Namaskar as we transfer you to the airport depending on your flight time! Have a safe trip.
