Visiting 1 country: USA

Welcome to Hawaii – home to picture-perfect beaches, swaying palms and a million hilarious puns. Get lei’d (see what we did there?) on arrival before getting up close and personal with the island that manages to romance the world over. Work up a sweat by hiking Honolulu’s glorious peaks, tuck into some freshly caught Lomi Lomi Salmon or kick back on the translucent sand of the the capital’s famous beaches. Keen to experience everything Honolulu has to offer on this four-day stopover? You had me at aloha.

Day 1: Honolulu, Hawaii

Touch down in this island paradise and let the fresh, fragrant air consume your senses as you’re welcomed with a traditional flower lei greeting. Ain’t nothing like starting your holiday with a good lei, #amiright? (wink wink). Onto your hotel to dump your bags and get acquainted with Hawaii’s capital.

Day 2: Honolulu, Hawaii

Wake early and fuel up on breakfast before heading out for a morning of reflection. Today we’re off to Pearl Harbour and the Arizona Memorial to browse the comprehensive museum and learn the history of “the date that will live in infamy”. Post-history lesson and perusal of the historic site, make tracks back to Waikiki where you can spend the day hanging ten in the waves, hanging out at the shops or hanging poolside at the hotel. Your choice.

Day 3: Honolulu, Hawaii

Third day in paradise and what a perfect time to work off those poolside cocktails. Hike to the top of Diamond Head, the volcanic tuff cone famed that sits prominently near the eastern edge of Waikiki’s coastline, for out-of-this-world views. Jump on a Grand Circle island tour of Oahu and check out some of the island’s most awe-inspiring landmarks. Or alternatively, dig your heels into the powder-white sand of Waikiki beach and let the Hawaiian sun warm your bones.

Day 4: Honolulu, Hawaii

Okay, okay. So it’s your last day on this glorious island. But that doesn’t mean the vacay has to end, right? Start pinning your next adventure as you hightail it back to the airport on your included transfer. Aloha!

3 nights hotel accommodation

We stay at good quality hotels that reflect the character of the local area as well as being as centrally located as possible, while striving to keep the cost affordable. However, standards and ratings may differ to what you are used to in your own country. It’s also worth noting that standards may also vary throughout the different regions of the country you are visiting.

If you are a solo traveler, you will always be sharing a room with someone of the same sex. If you are travelling as a couple and would prefer to have a double bed, please officially request a double room with us. We never presume that two people travelling together are a couple, even if you share the same surname, unless informed otherwise.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have booked pre or post trip accommodation, please note that most hotels in North America require you to present a credit card at check in even if your accommodation has been pre-paid for. The hotel will either place a temporary hold on a set amount (called a pre-authorisation) or will make a manual swipe of the card. This is done to cover incidentals, for example if you consume something from the mini-bar, or if you damage the hotel room. Your card will NOT actually be charged unless you use the mini-bar, etc. Please ask the hotel front desk clerk for a further explanation when checking in if you are unsure about why they need the card. Again, this is standard procedure at most hotels and is typically not something you need to be concerned about.

3 breakfasts

Please note that drinks are not included with meals, except at breakfast where coffee, tea and/or juice may be included. If you wish to purchase drinks at dinner you may do so at your own expense.

If you have any dietary requirements we will make every effort to cater to your specific needs as long as you advise us when you book. However, please be aware that although we will do everything in our power to arrange it, we cannot guarantee that every restaurant we use will be able to cater to all dietary needs. We also cannot cater for tastes or dislikes, as most of our included evening meals feature a set menu.

passenger safety

One of the best parts of travelling is experiencing the nightlife and entertainment each city has to offer. However, amidst the fun and excitement, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and personal safety as well. Before you hit the road with us, it’s important to be aware of the following:

When you’re on a night out, remember to avoid walking alone, particularly through deserted areas like beaches and back streets. Always stick together, take a taxi where possible, and keep a note of your accommodation details so you can find your way back to your fellow travellers if you become separated.

In some countries, alcoholic measures can be considerably larger than what you may be used to. Try to keep track of what you’re drinking, and if you see one of your trip mates looking a little worse for wear, take them back to your accommodation. Be cautious when accepting drinks from strangers and never leave your drink unattended.

It’s also important to be aware that what you might consider harmless flirting may be interpreted differently in some countries. Be yourself and have fun, but don’t be naïve, and be mindful of the signals you are sending out so that you don’t find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.
